Interior Shifts Toward Physical Controls
VW is responding to criticism of the all-touchscreen trend by reintroducing physical buttons and a volume knob to the ID. Polo’s interior. The dashboard features a minimalist layout with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a larger 12.9-inch infotainment display, but the inclusion of tactile controls suggests a course correction towards usability and driver preference. The cabin also uses modern recycled fabrics to give it a contemporary look without relying on cheap plastics.
