Ram’s Mystery Street Truck Looks Like A Rumble Bee Hit By A Bee Sting

Dana White is driving. Well, not driving, exactly, but he is standing next to a black-and-yellow truck in the latest Ram teaser. And the internet has a theory.

The second clip confirms the rumors. The bee graphic on the rear quarter panel doesn’t lie. We are likely seeing a return of the Rumble Bee. That nameplate disappeared after 2005, but now it might be back.

Recall when Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis stood up at the TRX launch? He dropped a hint then. Said the 777-hp beast was just the beginning. Something else coming down the line.

Turns out, he meant it.

Things are about to get loud, as the ad puts it. The truck screams while doing burnouts to Welcome to the Jungle. Smoke everywhere, of course, hiding the details. But not enough to miss the aggression. Triangular air intakes. A massive central opening in the grille. It looks meaner than the standard TRX.

The styling leans old school, but modern. Two-tone paint. Black wheels with yellow calipers popping against them. A sport bar. A big spoiler on the back.

Why do automakers love sport trucks? Because they stop caring? Most brands dropped the high-performance segment for off-roaders. They want mud, not speed. Ram is betting differently.

This new truck feels like a SRT-10 revival. Vintage vibes meet modern muscle.

Expect specs to mirror the current TRX, at least initially. Under that hood sits a supercharged 6.2L V8. 777 hp. 680 lb-ft of torque. It launches via an eight-speed automatic and four-wheel drive. 0 to 60 mph takes 3.5 seconds. Top speed caps at 118 mph.

“It’s connected to an ‘uprated’ transmission” — though “uprated” usually means “built to survive this much power without exploding.”

Is it fast? Yes. Is it loud? Apparently, yes.

The reveal is imminent. Two teasers are already out. The wait is almost over, which is both exciting and terrifying. Given the current landscape, a dedicated street-performance pickup feels like a rebellious act. A final stand?

Maybe. Or maybe just a limited run to boost Q3 earnings. We’ll see.
